GM
Produced approx. 100 car each year for the Player's Challenge Series.
On average, 75% of the car were Camaro's and 25% were Trans Am's.
It
was a requirement that each year a team had to race a new model year
car. The previous year's cars were allowed as backup cars and in
some cases were allowed as primary cars. In 1991 and 1992, GM
allowed the teams to re-use the1990 cars however with a new series
motor. Hence the production numbers in 1991 and 1992 were among
the lowest throughout the series.
